Sorry to say, but if he’s 9 mos past due…and you’re the one paying…he’s the smart one and you’re…well, a fool. If you’re sick of him asking for rides, STOP giving him rides. It’s tough assuming personal responsibility for how your passive-aggressive attitude contributes to a problem. But a little self-respect goes a long way.

Me, too. Mine is a serial mooch who never has enough for rent but somehow always has enough cash to go out and get drunk every night, and pay for his band practice and fucking guitar shit. I brought it to an end. He moves out on Feb 1. It can’t come soon enough. I will never have a roommate again.
